The AI Enablement & Delivery Manager Mission:
This role exists to accelerate confident, practical use of AI across Pentland Brands — while ensuring AI demand is structured, viable, and delivered through the right channels.
As AI Enablement & Delivery Manager, you sit at the centre of bottom-up AI adoption and Tier 2 deployment. You will work directly with business teams to shape and assess AI use cases, build no/low-code solutions and proofs of concept where appropriate, and determine when initiatives should escalate to specialist AI Tech teams.
Alongside this, you will drive the AI community and champion network across the organisation — building energy, confidence, and capability. AI Graduates will support the execution of engagement activity and Tier 1 builds, but you set the direction, standards, and quality bar.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role. You will be trusted to operate with autonomy, define priorities, and translate broad strategic direction into practical momentum across the business.
How you'll drive success:
Tier 2 Delivery & Prototyping
Deliver no-code and low-code AI solutions where appropriate.
Build proofs of concept to validate value before escalation.
Understand the AI Technology and support configuration and application of approved enterprise AI tools.
Ensure builds are structured, documented, and deployable into business workflows.
Coach Graduates on structured build approaches and good technical hygiene.
Driving Bottom-Up AI Adoption
Partner with teams across the business to identify where AI can practically improve workflows and outcomes.
Help teams clearly articulate what they are trying to achieve, why AI is appropriate, and how success will be measured.
Support the design and application of AI-enabled workflows using approved tools and platforms.
Encourage safe, responsible experimentation while maintaining structure and guardrails.
Ensure practical wins are captured and reused across the organisation.
AI Community & Capability Leadership
Own and drive the AI community and AI champion (Master) network across Pentland.
Set the direction and agenda for community sessions, showcases, clinics, and experimentation forums.
Coach and guide AI Graduates in delivering engagement activity, Tier 1 support, and community operations.
Identify high-potential champions and strengthen capability across the network.
Turn experimentation into reusable assets, playbooks, and case studies that accelerate adoption.
AI Use Case Assessment & Technical Translation
Act as the primary bridge between business teams and AI Tech.
Assess incoming AI use cases for clarity, feasibility, value, risk, and delivery path.
Determine whether initiatives are suited for Tier 2 build, Tier 3 escalation, or should not proceed.
Translate business requirements into clear technical terms and prepare structured handoffs where required.
Maintain standards for scoping, documentation, and value tracking.
Momentum, Visibility & Storytelling
Partner with Communications and Learning teams to ensure AI wins, insights, and practical examples are shared widely.
Keep AI visible, grounded, and outcome-focused across the organisation.
Surface both benefits and limitations of AI to build trust and realism.
Act as a recognised and credible voice for practical AI application.
Feeding Insight into Strategy
Capture recurring themes, blockers, and high-value opportunity areas emerging from bottom-up demand.
Provide structured feedback to the Head of AI Transformation to inform strategic focus and investment.
Ensure learning from Tier 2 builds and community activity strengthens top-down direction.
What you'll need to thrive:
Essential
Strong hands-on experience using AI tools to build workflows, automations, or analytical support solutions.
Demonstrated ability to assess and scope digital or AI use cases.
Confidence operating between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Strong judgement on when to build, when to escalate, and when to challenge.
Experience working autonomously in ambiguous environments.
Ability to lead networks and influence without relying on hierarchy.
Clear, confident communicator with high visibility presence.
Desirable
Experience delivering no/low-code solutions.
Experience coaching or managing junior colleagues.
Exposure to digital transformation or technology-enabled change initiatives.
Familiarity with enterprise AI tooling environments.
