The EMEA Market Merchandiser Mission:
As the Marketplace Merchandiser for Berghaus & Endura, you are the voice of the consumer in the region and the operational connector between product and market. You'll manage and deliver the creation of consumer-right assortments and price positioning across Berghaus & Endura key markets in EMEA-optimising for growth, profitability, and brand equity.
You'll gather, distil and action market insights, sales feedback, and data analytics to influence global range direction, drive best-in-class regional assortments; and ensure Berghaus & Endura shows up in the right places, at the right time, at the right price, for the right planet.
This role is pivotal to operationalising Berghaus & Endura global strategy within the region-helping to protect and grow our brands in EMEA.
How you'll drive success:
Manage and optimise the Berghaus & Endura EMEA product assortment for your markets in collaboration with the Commercial teams and Senior Brand Merchandiser, balancing local relevance with global brand strategy.
Coordinate tailored assortments for key strategic regions/partners to drive adoption and elevate brand perception.
Create targeted assortments at brand and key competitor level using sell-in/sell-out, consumer knowledge, sales insights and margin data.
Deliver seasonal editing with a "less is more" focus, prioritising hero products, storytelling, segmentation, and credible outfit building.
Manage pricing inputs (working closely with the Pricing Analyst): gather market benchmarks, GBB architecture, consumer perception, and competitive insights.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance to recommend pricing strategies aligned to margin, volume, and brand equity goals.
Deliver and manage the analysis, of Berghaus & Endura EMEA assortment performance against key metrics
Prepare seasonal "lessons learned" reports and feed insights into future planning.
Track competitor performance, market trends, and category shifts; turn insights into actionable recommendations.
Manage forecasting inputs: work with Sales and Planning teams to submit accurate forecasts. Pressure testing against historical data and market potential to minimise risk.
Support alignment between product strategy and financial planning to maximise profitability.
Coordinate and deliver regional GTM tools: storytelling, range explanation, segmentation guidance, and key line direction.
Equip Sales teams with regionalised tools, key talking points, and tailored content.
Support sales launches and key partner meetings across priority markets.
Coordinate inputs between Product, Sales, and Planning teams for the EMEA region, balancing brand ambition with commercial needs.
Feed regional insights into the global briefing process and roadmap planning.
Embed consumer-centric thinking and margin responsibility.
What you'll need to thrive:
Strong merchandising (or buying) expertise across assortment planning, pricing, segmentation, and line architecture.
Advanced analytical and commercial acumen: ability to interpret data and tell actionable stories.
Experience contributing to forecasting, and pricing positioning processes.
Strategic mindset with strong operational delivery capability.
Consumer-obsessed, commercially sharp, and brand proud.
Curious, proactive, and adaptable-able to operate independently within defined frameworks.
Strong communicator and collaborator-able to influence across functions without direct authority.
Comfortable using digital tools and evolving technologies; openness to Al and automation is a plus.
