Senior Finance Manager - Ecommerce & Marketplaces
You will own planning, forecasting, performance insight and decision support for the full DTC P&L.

Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (4.30pm finish on a Friday)
The Senior Finance Manager Mission:
The Senior Finance Manager leads end-to-end commercial finance and FP&A for Pentland Brands’ global Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business, spanning eCommerce and marketplace channels across multiple brands and regions.
This role owns planning, forecasting, performance insight and decision support for the full DTC P&L. Acting as a key business partner to the Digital Director and SVP of Media, the role drives profitable growth through robust financial modelling, deep understanding of order-level economics, performance marketing, pricing sensitivities and trading levers.
The role provides high-impact, forward-looking insight to executive stakeholders, supports major investment and transformation decisions, and ensures strong financial control across trading, promotional and project activity.
How you'll drive success:
Commercial FP&A & Performance Management
End-to-end ownership of global DTC planning, forecasting and performance management across all brands and regions
Full P&L ownership, including revenue, gross margin, marketing investment, fulfilment costs and overheads
Lead weekly DTC trade reporting (to COO, Regional Presidents and DTC team), providing clear, decision-oriented insight to executive stakeholders
Analyse and communicate trading performance, identifying risks, opportunities and trade-offs in real time
Assess profitability of trading and promotional activity, including discounting, conversion and margin impacts
Own monthly DTC performance reporting (Month, YTD, FY) with clear insight and commentary
Lead Finance review of monthly Sales IBP submissions with DTC leadership
Own quarterly forecast cycles and annual budget for Global DTC P&Ls
Business Partnering & Decision Support
Act as the primary finance partner to the Digital Director and SVP of Media
Provide robust financial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
Lead financial evaluation of commercial initiatives, growth opportunities and trading strategies
Support steering committees for major DTC projects, ensuring strong financial governance and value delivery
Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis
Build and own complex financial models to support business cases, investment decisions and scenario planning
Lead pricing and promotional sensitivity analysis (e.g. discount depth, conversion rates, demand elasticity)
Develop scenario models to assess upside/downside risks and inform executive decisions
Marketing & Order-Level Economics
Partner closely with Digital and Media teams to assess performance marketing efficiency
Analyse customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value economics
Develop and interpret order-level profitability metrics across channels, brands and regions
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing team, managing:
1 Finance Senior Analyst
1 Project Lead
Provide coaching, clear objectives and strong performance management
Build DTC commercial finance capability and best practice across the team
Financial Control & Systems
Partner with accounting and shared services teams to ensure robust month-end processes and controls
Comfortable operating across transactional finance and commercial FP&A
Ensure accurate P&L and balance sheet postings related to DTC activity
Strong working knowledge of SAP in an eCommerce / DTC environment
What you'll need to thrive:
Essential
Significant FP&A / Commercial Finance experience in eCommerce environments
Strong understanding of global, multi-brand operating models
Proven experience owning and managing a full P&L
Deep commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into clear executive insight
Advanced financial modelling and scenario planning capability
Strong understanding of:
Order-level economics
Performance marketing
Pricing, discounting and conversion dynamics
Experience delivering decision support at senior / executive level
Confident people manager with experience developing high-performing teams
Desirable
Experience working with marketplaces alongside owned eCommerce
Exposure to fast-paced, high-growth DTC environments
Experience supporting large-scale digital or transformation projects
