The Junior Social Media Executive Mission:
Kickers is an iconic brand, deeply embedded in UK culture. As Junior Social Media Executive, you’ll help bring the brand to life across our social channels — ensuring we show up authentically in key cultural moments, continue to engage with the Kickers community and tell the story of this brand in a compelling and relevant way. From big brand activations to product launches and major events, you’ll be on hand to capture content, and translate them onto our feed. You’ll also play a big role in ensuring that Kickers continue to be ‘the uniform’ for school kids across the country, helping the brand continue to be trusted by parents and lead the way on the playground. There’s nothing quite like walking through that school gate with those red and green tabs!
How you'll drive success:
Support the Senior Content & Community Manager in delivering the Kickers social strategy across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
Schedule and publish Kickers content across both the Kickers Adults and Kids social channels, delivering compelling content and best-in-class execution.
Actively manage and engage with the Kickers community across social channels — driving advocacy, two-way conversation and ensuring brand visibility in the conversations that matter.
Support the management of the social content calendar, ensuring we consistently show up in an authentic manner, in the right cultural moments.
Create trend-led, reactive and engaging content aligned to platform behaviours and emerging social formats.
Monitor content performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
Develop regular social trend reports, sharing insights with the wider Kickers team to inspire content creation and brand thinking.
Support in identifying relevant influencers and content creators to partner with Kickers.
Assist with creator outreach and campaign coordination where required.
Support cultural activations and collaborations from a social perspective.
Help maintain brand tone of voice and visual consistency across all outputs.
Support wider brand team tasks, including sample management and general marketing support where required.
What you'll need to thrive:
A genuine passion for fashion, youth culture and social media — you live and breathe social, content and trends.
Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, and how content performs on each platform.
Be obsessed with content! Always thinking about what’s working, what’s not, what ideas you can bring to the table.
Confidence to proactively bring new ideas forward — always looking for the next opportunity or trend.
Build a strong understanding of the brand tone of voice and how to apply it consistently.
A creative mindset with the ability to create simple, engaging, trend-led content.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive, self-starter attitude — willing to roll up your sleeves in a small, lean team.
Hungry to learn, grow and develop a career within brand and social marketing. We just want willingness, enthusiasm and someone who throws themself into the role, with a lot of support on offer to help you thrive and grow.
Alongside a competitive salary and discretionary bonus, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing, flexibility, and life outside work. This includes generous holiday allowance with the option to buy more, hybrid and flexible working, enhanced family leave, pension and financial protection, wellbeing support, travel schemes, and generous discounts across Pentland Brands and selected retail partners.
