The Senior Global Brand Marketing Manager plays a lead role in developing and delivering Speedo’s global brand strategy, helping ensure the brand shows up with clarity, consistency and cultural relevance across markets and consumer touchpoints.
Working closely with the VP Global Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Go-To-Market, Social & Community, Sports Marketing, Retail Experience, Partnerships, Media, Insights and regional teams, this role translates consumer insight, category dynamics and cultural signals into clear brand narratives, campaign frameworks and seasonal storytelling platforms.
The role helps shape how Speedo builds long-term brand equity, consideration and distinctiveness globally, while giving regional teams the clarity and tools to activate locally with confidence.
What you’ll be doing:
Support the VP Global Brand Marketing in developing and evolving Speedo’s global brand strategy, positioning and long-term brand narrative.
Translate brand strategy into clear global frameworks, including brand narratives, seasonal themes, messaging principles and activation guidance.
Act as a global brand guardian, ensuring Speedo’s tone of voice, storytelling, visual identity and brand standards are applied consistently across markets and touchpoints.
Use consumer insight, brand health, category trends and cultural signals to inform brand thinking and ensure Speedo remains relevant and distinctive.
Shape global brand campaign frameworks and narratives, helping define campaign ambition, core narratives, messaging frameworks and creative direction in partnership with internal and external teams.
Partner with Go-To-Market to ensure approved brand campaigns, seasonal stories and launch moments are translated into clear activation frameworks for regional execution.
Work closely with regional marketing teams to share brand priorities, review activation plans, exchange learnings and support strong global-to-local execution.
Partner with Product Marketing to ensure brand narratives align with product pillars, innovation priorities and seasonal product storytelling.
Work with Social & Community, Sports Marketing and Brand Partnerships teams to ensure social, athlete, partnership and community activity ladders up to the global brand strategy.
Collaborate with Retail Experience and Store Design & VM teams to ensure brand storytelling translates effectively into retail, experiential and omnichannel environments.
Partner with Media, PR and Insights teams to support campaign planning, earned media moments, brand performance tracking and post-campaign learning.
Provide direction and support to direct reports within the brand marketing function, helping prioritise workload and maintain delivery standards.
Present brand strategy, campaign frameworks and key learnings to senior stakeholders, regional teams and cross-functional partners.
What you’ll bring:
Significant experience in brand marketing, ideally within sports, lifestyle, performance or premium consumer brands.
Strong experience supporting or developing brand strategy, campaign platforms and storytelling frameworks across global or multi-market environments.
Excellent understanding of how consumer insight, culture, sport, product and brand positioning come together to build distinctive brands.
Proven ability to work effectively across regional and global teams, balancing global consistency with local market relevance.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
Experience managing or guiding team members, with the ability to provide clear direction, coaching and prioritisation.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to connect brand strategy to consumer relevance, market execution and business impact.
This vacancy is a newly created role as part of organisational changes. Final appointment will depend upon the outcome of consultation processes and affected employees will have priority for consideration.
