The FP&A Manager will lead and develop the GCH FP&A team, own the planning and reporting cadence, improve analytical capability and ensure the Bangalore and London teams operate as one joined-up function. Our purpose is to help Pentland make better decisions by turning data into meaningful insight, connecting the numbers to the business story and helping stakeholders understand what is happening, what is coming next and what their options are.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead, coach and develop the Bangalore-based FP&A team, building capability, confidence and accountability.
Own the planning, forecasting and reporting cadence, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Oversee monthly actuals, variance analysis, rolling forecasts, budgets and weekly performance reporting.
Turn financial and operational data into clear insight, recommendations and actions.
Identify and communicate risks, opportunities and emerging trends early.
Partner closely with London-based Finance Business Partners to deliver one joined-up Planning & Analysis team.
Build strong relationships with senior Finance, commercial and functional stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement across reporting, planning, systems and ways of working.
Maintain and improve reporting infrastructure across SAP BW, OneStream, Power BI and Excel.
Standardise templates, processes and definitions across regions.
Ensure data integrity across SAP actuals and planning and reporting systems.
Create a no-surprises environment through proactive communication and timely escalation.
What you’ll bring:
CA or equivalent fully qualified with 9+ years of relevant experience; with years of relevant finance experience.
Strong FP&A, commercial finance or business performance-management experience.
Previous experience leading and developing an FP&A or finance-analysis team.
Excellent budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance-analysis capability.
Experience working in a multinational, matrixed or geographically dispersed organisation.
The ability to turn complex financial information into clear commercial insight.
Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills.
Advanced Excel and financial-modelling capability.
Experience of enterprise planning and reporting systems.
Experience of SAP, SAP BW, OneStream and Power BI would be advantageous, as would experience working within a Global Capability Hub, shared-services environment or international consumer business
