The Berghaus Product team is responsible for creating innovative, consumer-led products that strengthen the brand and drive future growth. Working closely with Design, Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, Insights and Brand Marketing, the team turns consumer needs and market opportunities into products that are relevant, distinctive and commercially successful.
As Product Manager – NPD, you’ll help shape the future Berghaus product pipeline, taking new ideas from early concept through to launch. You’ll combine consumer insight, commercial thinking and strong cross-functional leadership to ensure we develop the right products, for the right consumers, at the right time.
What you’ll be doing:
Own and develop the NPD roadmap, aligned to Berghaus brand strategy and future growth priorities.
Identify consumer needs, market trends, product gaps and new opportunities to inform the innovation pipeline.
Turn insights and opportunities into clear product briefs, concepts and compelling consumer propositions.
Lead cross-functional teams through the end-to-end NPD process, from ideation through to commercialisation.
Partner closely with Design, Development, Sourcing, Merchandising, Insights and Brand Marketing to bring new products to life.
Own the NPD critical path, ensuring key milestones, decisions and deliverables stay on track.
Lead prototype reviews, consumer validation and feasibility assessments to refine product concepts.
Build robust business cases and commercial recommendations for new product opportunities.
Manage risks, dependencies, costs and priorities across multiple NPD projects.
Review post-launch performance and use learnings to continuously improve future product development.
What you’ll bring:
Proven experience in Product Management, New Product Development or Product Strategy within apparel, footwear, outdoor or consumer goods.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end product creation process, from consumer insight and concept development through to launch.
Experience leading cross-functional product projects and bringing multiple stakeholders together around a clear product vision.
Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance consumer needs, brand ambition, feasibility and financial opportunity.
Excellent project management skills with experience managing critical paths, priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
An analytical mindset with the ability to turn consumer, market and performance data into clear product decisions.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence working across creative, technical and commercial teams.
A genuine interest in consumers, innovation and creating products that strengthen the Berghaus brand.
